This racy-looking undersea vehicle is the Dual Deepworker 2000, a high-tech submersible designed and manufactured by Nuytco Research of North Vancouver, B.C., a company owned by DIVER Magazine publisher Phil Nuytten. Here, the sub is pictured in the immense 20 million gallon water tank that is part of Fox Studios amazing motion picture facility in Baja, Mexico, where many scenes from such notable movies as Titanic and Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World were shot in recent years. Read our cover story to learn more about the studio and the subs. |
