When novelist Clive Cussler wrote a story about his super spy hero Dirk Pitt scuba diving to the decks of the Titanic the world wondered if Hollywood would ever be able to make the movie. The story is about how the Russians and Americans compete to raise the remains of the sunken liner because they believe a precious metal is in the hold of the 1913 wreck. There is enough of the mythical substance known as byzanium in the world's most famous wreck to power the USA's new equally mythical laser protection screen along the perimeter of the company.
