Masks and fins in all shapes and sizes
The choice of styles, colours and designs when it comes to masks seems to be never ending. There is now no excuse for not being able to find a mask that will fit any face shape perfectly, offer the desired features such as number of windows, low volume, etc., and look good while doing so. | |

CRESSI has two new masks on the market, the Focus and the Sky.
The Focus is a low volume, two window mask with a wide field of vision. The quick-adjust, swivel buckles offer 30 degrees of movement for a more custom fit. Divers with smaller faces found this mask very comfortable. The Sky is a single window mask but at first glance looks more like a two window mask with it's narrow window area over the bridge of the nose. This design also makes it low volume. The Sky has a wide field of vision and will fit almost any face size but has a slightly larger seal area than the Focus, great for larger faces. Both are available with a clear or black silicone skirt and corrective lenses from -1 through -8.5 diopters in 0.5 increments can be installed. A rainbow of frame colours, to complement any ensemble, is also offered. OCEANIC also has a new mask, the Outlook. This two window design has a 'retro swimming goggle' look to it which takes some getting used to. But it has a wide field of vision and the clear or black silicone skirt is very soft and comfortable. The Outlook also has swivelling, quick-adjust buckles. The Frog fin from CRESSI has been around for a few years now and gained a loyal following. Now comes the Space Frog. They are a regular size fin but extremely light for their size. This is thanks to a three material molding process that uses a variety of materials in certain areas of the fin in order to perform certain functions. Rigid materials provide support and power where it is needed, while softer ones provide comfort. The strap features a quick disconnect buckle and simple, one hand adjustability. |
