Becoming a NAUI ScubaCenter is the easiest way to become familiar with the benefits of NAUI affiliation. There's no cost, and there's much to be gained, even at this entry level of participation. In addition to the NAUI Newsletter, you'll receive a complimentary listing in the NAUI Affiliate Directory, providing divers worldwide information about your store and its services. Additionally, we'll include our NAUI Divers Welcome Here window decal.
Affiliation at the ProScubaCenter level (Professional Retail Outlet) adds tremendously to the benefits you receive at the complimentary Scuba Center level; most importantly, NAUI sanction. Moreover, beyond the basic NAUI affiliation, you'll receive an impressive variety of material that is designed to influence your customers' decisions to learn more, and to dive more often. For example, our video and posters provide the experienced and unexperienced diver alike, with a graphic representation of all levels of diving involvement. So, if you're working with a beginning diver, the educational pathway to initial certification is easily understood and presented in an unassuming, accessible manner. Likewise, working with an experienced diver, critical paths to diver specialty or instructor level certifications are equally clear cut. In fact, the NAUI poster, and NAUI video are the perfect tools to offer any diver a complete overview of how to get from any certification level to the next. But wait . . . there's more. In addition to our video and graphics tools, participation at the PRO level also entitles you to the following items, each designed to direct your customers toward their next diving experience.
ProGold affiliation includes all Pro Benefits, and adds several important components to your marketing strategy. ProGold affiliation also brings with it several requirements that not every dive center in a crowded market will be able to attain. As a NAUI ProGold center, you'll be required to exclusively conduct NAUI courses and issue NAUI c-cards. To augment your success in making these courses both profitable as well as looked-forward-to events, NAUI offers special pricing on certification cards, and a variety of other support materials - materials that focus attention on your dive center and further enhance your margins while offering a comprehensive inventory of NAUI educational and safety services.
NAUI ProPlatinum is the pre-eminent challenge for Dive Centers. ProPlatinum certification carries with it responsibilities unlike other affiliate levels. Yet, along with these responsibilities, ProPlatinum Dive Centers are recognized as industry leaders by their peers and by the diving community at-large. ProPlatinum Dive Centers exhibit an extraordinary commitment to education and safety, as well as an adherence to NAUI's high standards covering all levels of dive training. Although NAUI ProPlatinum may afford a certain prestige to the qualifing dive center, prestige is not all that it's about.
NAUI ProPlatinum affiliation requires a NAUI Instructor/Trainer on staff. Additionally, the ProPatinum Dive Center is required to conduct one ITC each year, conduct a minimum of two leadership courses each year, and exclusivly certify its divers to NAUI standards.
